    Provides support for all those living with and affected by cancer, with an emphasis on Black people and people of colour.

    Harlington Hospice provides a wide range of palliative care services to the residents of Hillingdon and surrounding areas.

    The Hospice hosts a Wellbeing Service (shared with Michael Sobell Hospice), complementary therapies, counselling, lymphoedema service and the CABS team supporting children and adolescents.

    The Hospice also hosts Harlington Hospice@Home team, mainly providing night sits, plus inpatient beds based at Michael Sobell Hospice (MSH) in Northwood.

    Macmillan provide cancer information, support and help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can.

    Visit the website to get help with paying bills, advice on benefits or treatment, or to just chat.

    Macmillan information and support centre - Hillingdon Hospital

    The Centre provides free information and support for anyone affected by cancer:

    • Information on all aspects of living with cancer and treatments
    • Signposting for benefits advice 
    • Enabling access to Macmillan Grants
    • Referrals for wig fittings, headscarves, Look Good Feel Better Programme and Living with Cancer Workshops 
    • Access to Clinical Nurse Specialists 

    Face to face advice available Monday to Friday 9.30am to 2.00pm. Telephone advice available Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5.00pm.

    Address: 1st floor, Hillingdon Hospital (Close to main outpatients).

    This service provides outpatient and inpatient assessments and psychological therapy service for patients with cancer and palliative conditions, and their carers. Home visits can be provided under certain circumstances.

    Service opening is Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm (closed on public holidays).

    Maggie's has a network of centres in many locations throughout the UK. It provides free information about cancer, financial benefts and offers emotional and social support to people with cancer, as well as their family, and friends.

    Marie Curie provide support for patients and carers through terminal illness.

    Other services include Marie Curie nurses, Hospice care, helper and companion services.

    A safe space for anybody who identifes as LGBTIQ+ and has had an experience with any kind of cancer at any stage. Also produces resources about LGBT cancer experiences. 

    T

    Teenage Cancer Trust

    A UK-wide charity devoted to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer. There is a support network for young people with cancer, their friends and families. 

    The tissue viability service is for patients who have a complex tissue viability problem or a non-healing deteriorating wound.

    Young lives vs Cancer support young people under 25 with cancer, and their families, to get the help they need during their cancer treatment and beyond, including bereaved families living with emotional distress.
